Design for Sustainability
The word design is used to indicate intention around decision making. When combined with for sustainability, it is meant that all decision making should have a view to the impact of choices and the possibility to practically make improvements.
We never assume that solutions are only technical, often, they are about culture, to this end, there should be no barriers to areas for improvement, just a priority placed on where to start. At TrueNorth Collective, we use environmental data delivered through LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) to set that starting place.
